line dancing

The girls and I went to learn a few line dances on Friday Night. Our regular radio station has hosting a dancing with the DJs. We went and enjoyed ourselves. Jenna even got up and danced. Her favorite was the Mississippi Mud. Sam enjoyed all of them. You can check out Kiss Country's web page she is in 100 of the 149 pictures. Her highlight was dancing with Eddie, from the morning show. Tori enjoyed herself, she watched all the cute cowboys wondering around. I even got up and danced a few. Ok, it took me 3 steps to do the 2 step. My favorite was the Cha Cha Cha with the jump and shake. We are thinking about taking some of the line dance classes they offer.

puppy party

A friend of mine who works with me had a party for her puppy. Sophie turned 1 this past week. Sophie is Eva's sister. They look as much a like as Tori and Jenna do. Lisa had puppy treats, a dog cake, and a play area for the dogs. It was very interesting. I think Lisa needed a girl.

birthdays in Atlanta

The girls, the Bear, Ho, and I went to Atlanta on Saturday. We went down to celebrate Hudson and Mclain's birthday. Hudson turned 1 and Mclain turned 3 yrs old. We had a great time seeing everyone. The girls had the best time playing with Mclain. They played all afternoon on the playground and in the sand. They also helped Shannon get the foam darts stuck in the trees. We ate Moes and enjoyed a piece of cake. I think Hudson enjoyed his cake the most...he was blue by the time he finished his. Tim, Ra, and Emma came over and we had some great family time. Kari said "did you ever think our kids would ever play together?" I remember playing with Kari...we are not old enough to have kids..ok I'm getting old.

Big Ears

I know big ears always run in this family but the girls got to try on some really big ears last weekend. We went to a bat program. We learned about the different kinds of bats, how they fly at night, what they eat, and how they are built like us. We also learned they don't bite people around here and why they sleep in our barn sometimes. Afterwards we went to walk the gardens.
