Emma's dance

We all went down to Atlanta to see Emma be pretty ugly. She was a poor unfortunate soul from the Little Mermaid. It is amazing the grace those dancers have and they make it look so easy. But we know they have been practicing for a very long time. The back drops were beautiful and so colorful. Emma was the best soul on the stage we are very proud of her and all of her friends.

Heart Walk

The girls and I went down to Greenville Sc to be part of the American Heart Association walk, we don't have one in Asheville. It was 39 degree and rainy. After driving over a hour we made it to Falls Park. We got some goodies and tried to stay warm drinking hot coco. The walk was a 5K. We got half way through and it started to come a down pour. But we keep walking and laughed the whole way. The funny farm raised $220.00 for the cause. We walk in memory of Granny, Pappa, and MeMaw. We walked in tribute for our Granny Bear and Uncle Ike. Everyone needs to think about your healthy heart...we all have one.

I have a hard time keeping up with the girls...I'm out of shape. Sam really enjoys learning all the dances. She just gets out there and joins the group. The twins go for the buffet of snacks they have. It is great to have a family dance club around here.

we all know that winter is not over but we really enjoyed the weekend full of warm weather!!!!

how do you train a pig

First, off why would you train a pig?? because Jenna wants MooMoo to learn to walk on a leash...Then, why do it when his pen is muddy? because it snow all last weekend and we wanted to have some fun...Last, how do you train a pig?? with a box of cheese bit crackers....no he doesn't do any trick yet that is.
This reminds me of a book..if you give a mouse a pancake...
if you give a pig a cracker he will want something to wash it down with, when he will want to brush his teeth to get the cracker crumbs out of his mouth...
oh coarse after all the crackers and everything else he has eaten the harness doesn't fit anymore

and then it came down some more...until we had about 8 inches...3 snow days later..no school or work for 2 days...and a 2 hr delay later life is good...
hay fields are the best to go sledding and the Bear has the best snow to build a fort at her house....

ACES fun raiser

The girls went rolling skating this past weekend, all for a fun raiser for the elementary school. They seemed like they had a great time, Sam was in the bottom 5 of the limbo contest (you know she is short so that helps), and no one broke anything (that is always a plus). I did not go out there I was the picture taker. Something about watching the disco ball go around and everyone doing the hustle seems crazy.

It is hard to believe that we have been through 3 months of cheer leading and basketball...we had a pizza party for the cheerleaders and we had a parents verse girls game...don't play against Jenna, my left pinkie is still a little blue and jammed...but we had a great time...GO UPWARD..we did not have our awards banquet because of the snow storm but it is a great group and have enjoyed another season.
